Michael owen o'neill
MICHAEL OWEN O'NEILL
is a studio jeweler, visual artist and lecturer of studio art-Metals in the school of art + design at Texas state university. Originally from the Texas Hill country, O’Neill earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in Metal at the State University of New York—New Paltz in 2014 and his bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Jewelry and Metalsmithing from Texas State UniversitY in 2012. Michael’s work is recognized nationally and internationally and has been invited to exhibit at institutions such as the Museum of Fine Arts-Houston and the Pinakothek DER Moderne-Munich, Germany. O'Neill's jewelry is in the private collections of member's of the Smithsonian's james renwick alliance and in the permanent collection of the Samuel Dorsky Museum of Fine Art. O’Neill currently works from his studio in austin, texas.
